Preview: Souderton Indians vs. Downingtown West Whippets
The Souderton Indians have the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome the Downingtown West Whippets at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Souderton earned a 21-14 win over Pennsbury.
It was another big night for Ryan Sadowski, who rushed for 82 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, while Downingtown West put up some points on Saturday, the same can't be said for Council Rock South. Downingtown West enjoyed a cozy 17-0 win over Council Rock South. The victory was just what Downingtown West needed coming off of a 35-7 loss in their prior contest.
Souderton has yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 11-0 record. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-8 Haverford and 2-9 Pennridge (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 38.5% over those games). As for Downingtown West, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.
