Basketball Game Preview: Bennett Clippers vs. Decatur Seahawks

Bennett hasn't had much luck against Decatur recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Clippers will host the Seahawks at 6:00 p.m. Bennett knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 matchups -- so hopefully Decatur likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Bennett ended up a good deal behind Pocomoke and lost 90-73. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (60), the Clippers still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Decatur beat Mardela 65-52 on Thursday.

Bennett's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Decatur, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.

Bennett couldn't quite get it done against Decatur when the teams last played back in February of 2025 as they fell 69-61. Can the Clippers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
