Softball Recap: Collinsville Kahoks vs. Alton Redbirds

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Belleville West, Collinsville was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Alton Redbirds, sneaking past 7-5. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Kahoks as it put an end to their nine-game losing streak.

Ali Vieluf was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out ten batters over 6.2 innings while giving up five earned runs off seven hits.
