Soccer Recap: Plano Comes Up Short

Plano was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 6-3 to the Reed-Custer Comets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Plano of the 6-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Plano's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Reed-Custer, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plano will challenge Woodstock at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Reed-Custer, they will take on Manteno at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Manteno's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
