Volleyball Recap: Royal Valley Takes a Loss

Royal Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Holton Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Royal Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Holton, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Royal Valley will be taking part in a tournament against Wamego at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Holton, they have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Rossville on the 23rd.
