Baseball Recap: Palmer Trinity's Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over

It was a good run, but Palmer Trinity unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 16-6 to the Monsignor Pace Spartans. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Falcons have suffered since February 26th.

Joshua Martinez was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Michael Miraglia was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Palmer Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Monsignor Pace, they pushed their record up to 10-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Palmer Trinity didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Keys Gate on the 19th. As for Monsignor Pace, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against St. Brendan on the 25th.
