Basketball Recap: Keller Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Victory

While Keller didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 40-31 win over the Prestonwood Christian Lions on Saturday. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 68-59 victory the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2017.

The win was the fifth in a row for Keller, bringing their record up to 5-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points over those games. As for Prestonwood Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Keller will take on Southlake Carroll in a tournament on Saturday. The Dragons' defense has only allowed 29.3 points per game this season, so the Indians' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Prestonwood Christian, they are on the road again on Saturday to play Highland Park at 1:30 p.m.
