Preview: Lodi vs. Becton
Lodi will challenge Becton on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, Lodi have to be feeling especially confident with the MaxPreps state rankings on their side for this one.
The struggle was real when Lodi and Manchester Regional clashed last Saturday, but Lodi ultimately edged out the opposition 24-21.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 6-42, which was the final score in Becton's tilt against Hasbrouck Heights. Becton were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-21.
Lodi's win lifted them to 1-2 while Becton's loss dropped them down to 1-2. We'll find out if Lodi can add another positive mark to their record or if Becton can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Lodi's step.
