Baseball Recap: Danbury Comes Up Short

Danbury suffered their biggest defeat since March 5th on Saturday. They came up short against the Brazosport Christian Eagles, falling 11-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-6 back in February.

This is the second loss in a row for Danbury and nudges their season record down to 11-6. As for Brazosport Christian, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 16-9-2.

Coming up, Danbury is taking a road trip to square off against Brazosport at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Brazosport Christian, they will host Baytown Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
