Recap: Arbor View Aggies vs. Somerset Academy Losee Lions

On Saturday, the Arbor View Aggies faced the Somerset Academy Losee Lions in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Arbor View secured a 48-43 W over Somerset Academy Losee. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Arbor View has scored all year.

Pharaoh Compton continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Arbor View's points. DeMarion Yap was another key contributor, scoring ten points.

The victory makes it two in a row for Arbor View and bumps their season record up to 8-5. As for Somerset Academy Losee, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.

Arbor View will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Durango at 6:30 p.m. on January 2nd. Durango has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 328 points over their last five contests. Somerset Academy Losee's road trip will continue as they head out to face Troy at 7:00 p.m. on December 26, 2023. Troy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 222nd in California, while Somerset Academy Losee is ranked fifth in Nevada).
