Basketball Recap: Dominion Christian Comes Up Short

The Dominion Christian Knights were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 60-59 to the William & Reed Academy Warriors. The Knights were up 24-10 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Dominion Christian dropped their record down to 1-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for William & Reed Academy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dominion Christian will welcome Woodland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for William & Reed Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Riverside Military Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
