Football Game Preview: Lee County vs. Wakefield

Lee County will be defending their home turf for the first time on Thursday when they go up against Wakefield at 6:30 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.

Lee County came within a touchdown against Holly Springs last Thursday, but wound up with a 28-38 loss.

Meanwhile, Wakefield had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 12-0 win over Millbrook.

Wakefield's victory lifted them to 2-0 while Lee County's loss dropped them down to 1-2. We'll find out if Wakefield can add another positive mark to their record or if Lee County can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Wakefield's step.
