Liberty Christian Academy had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 24-point drubbing they dealt Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis on Friday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 36-12 margin over the Crusaders. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Crusaders: they've now won five in a row.

Leading Liberty Christian Academy to victory were Bristol Barron and Trina Scheltens. Barron posted 14 points in addition to seven boards and five steals, while Scheltens earned six points along with six assists and six rebounds. Those 14 points gave Barron a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Emma Roden, who put up six points.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Liberty Christian Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis only posted two.

Liberty Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0.
