It was a good run, but Bowen unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Chicago Military Academy Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Boilermakers of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-10.

Bowen's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Chicago Military Academy, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Coming up, Bowen will take on Christian Fenger Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chicago Military Academy, they will square off against DuSable at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
