Football Recap: Regis Jesuit Falls Short Against Ranked Brophy College Prep + How To Watch

Regis Jesuit is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Brophy College Prep. The Raiders lost 44-18 to the Broncos. That's two games in a row now that the Raiders have lost by exactly 26 points.

Regis Jesuit lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Joe Pron, who rushed for 115 yards and one score.

Leading Brophy College Prep to victory were Case Vanden Bosch and Harrison Chambers. Vanden Bosch rushed for 96 yards and a pair of TDs, while Chambers rushed for 107 yards and one touchdown on only six carries. Chambers got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 61 yards.

Regis Jesuit's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Brophy College Prep, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Regis Jesuit will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Fossil Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on the 19th. As for Brophy College Prep, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 45-27 victory against Perry on the 12th.
