There's no place like home for Connally, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 39-20 win over the Alvarado Indians on Tuesday. This was payback for the Cadets, who suffered a 51-41 loss the last time these two teams met.

When it comes to explaining why Alvarado lost, don't look at Aaliyah Marks. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 boards. Victoria Dixon also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

The victory got Connally back to even at 2-2. As for Alvarado, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Connally will take on Teague at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Alvarado, they will challenge Paschal at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
