While Crescenta Valley's win against Pasadena wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Crescenta Valley Falcons sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Pasadena Bulldogs on Wednesday. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Crescenta Valley was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 23-25, 21-25, 25-22, 15-13.

Crescenta Valley's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Pasadena, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crescenta Valley will take on Arcadia at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Arcadia will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Crescenta Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pasadena, they will challenge Glendale at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
