Lafayette and Oak Hall are an even 4-4 against one another since September of 2016, but not for long. The Hornets will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. Lafayette will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Monday, Lafayette made easy work of Williston and carried off a 3-0 win.

Lafayette walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-16, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Oak Hall unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-match winning streak on Thursday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of The Rock.

While Oak Hall ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 19-25, 25-21, 25-20.

Oak Hall now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Lafayette, their win bumped their record up to 14-3.

Lafayette took their victory against Oak Hall when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Hornets repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
