Deshler entered their tilt with Athens Bible on Saturday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Deshler's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Allie Wiginton led the charge by getting 11 digs.

Deshler's win bumped their record up to 33-8. As for Athens Bible, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-20 record this season.
