Baseball Recap: Atlantic Comes Up Short

Atlantic was the 10-6 winner over Forest Hill when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Atlantic Eagles came up short against the Forest Hill Falcons on Thursday, falling 21-6.

Landon Thompson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Rouss Doverno, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Atlantic's defeat was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Forest Hill, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-4.

Coming up, Atlantic will face off against Glades Day at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Forest Hill, they will head out to take on Palm Beach Gardens at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
