Oakton waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Georgetown Visitation Prep Cubs.

Marissa Turek paced Oakton's offense, picking up 12 kills. Turek got some help from Julia Lee and her 26 assists. Turek also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Olivia Baick, each putting up four.

Oakton's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Georgetown Visitation Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 10-3.

Oakton has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Flint Hill on the 27th. As for Georgetown Visitation Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Episcopal on the 30th.
