Softball Recap: Providence Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Providence Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Oglethorpe County Patriots. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Storm have suffered since August 9th.

Providence Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Oglethorpe County, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Looking ahead, Providence Christian Academy is taking a road trip to challenge Commerce at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oglethorpe County, they will welcome Jasper County at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
