Football Game Preview: Adams City Eagles vs. Skyline Falcons + Official Tickets

The Adams City Eagles will head out to face off against the Skyline Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Adams City is looking for their season's first victory.

Adams City's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against Riverdale Ridge on Thursday. They took a blow against the Ravens, falling 68-0. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado football rankings (they are ranked 186th, while the Ravens are ranked 48th).

Meanwhile, Longmont kept up with Skyline until halftime on Friday, but afterwards: not so much. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 55-33 margin over the Trojans. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Falcons have posted against the Trojans since September 27, 2019.

The victory made it two in a row for Skyline and bumps their season record up to 3-5. The team dominated over those games too, winning by an average of 28 points. As for Adams City, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Adams City was taken down by Skyline 41-8 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
