After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bishop Watterson, Lancaster was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Canal Winchester Indians. The Golden Gales have beaten the Indians the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Indians has come to flipping the script.

Lancaster's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Canal Winchester, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lancaster will challenge rival Newark at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Golden Gales 3.4, the Wildcats 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Canal Winchester is set to square off against their familiar foe Groveport-Madison at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
