Volleyball Recap: Northport Finds Playoff Glory Versus Walla Walla Valley Academy + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Northport walked away with it. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Walla Walla Valley Academy Knights on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Northport got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kate Beardslee out in front who had 24 digs, 16 kills, and five blocks. With that strong performance, Beardslee is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game. Another player making a difference was Dalilah Colton, who had eight digs and four aces.

Northport was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last six matchups.

Northport's record is now 17-5. As for Walla Walla Valley Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 15-8 record.

As of now, neither Northport nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
