Volleyball Recap: Northwest's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

It was a good run, but Northwest unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Stevens Raiders. The Vikings were not able to make up for their defeat to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in October of 2022.

Elli Payne paced Northwest's offense, picking up six kills. Payne got some help from Kenna Bowman and her 16 assists. Ava Janulewicz controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Stevens, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-3.

Northwest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Sidney on the 3rd. As for Stevens, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Alliance on the 3rd.
