Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Xavier Brookins stepped things up a notch to give Pallotti the 'W'. Brookins threw for 181 yards and one touchdown while completing 83.3% of his passes. The performance also marked the most rushing yards (20) he has had since back in August.

Brookins and Pallotti will square off against Boys Latin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Lakers thanks in part to Brookins: he threw for 173 yards and a pair of TDs on only nine passes.
