Devon Prep had lost three straight, but after bumping their record up to 2-5 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They skirted past the Cardinal O'Hara Lions 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tide have posted since April 26, 2025.
Alex Hannah was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2025. Liam Jung was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
As for Cardinal O'Hara, they now have a losing record of 4-5. The loss continues a trend for them in their meetings with Devon Prep: they've now lost three in a row.
On Cardinal O'Hara's side, they got a good showing from Padraig MacManus, who tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. MacManus has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.
