Basketball Recap: Mississinewa Piles Up the Points Against Hamilton Heights

Mississinewa was handed a heart-breaking two-point defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Hamilton Heights on Saturday. The Indians blew past the Huskies, posting a 69-42 win. The Indians not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since January 31st (when they won 62-32).

Mississinewa found their leader in sophomore Rayveon Fetz, who shot 60% from the field en route to 23 points along with six assists and six boards. Another player making a difference was Dakota Hill, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds.

Mississinewa was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

Mississinewa's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Hamilton Heights, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Mississinewa will challenge Bluffton at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hamilton Heights, they will take on Logansport at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Huskies their first taste of in-conference action this season.
