There's no place like home for North Duplin, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past the Union Spartans 3-0 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

North Duplin never let Union on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-15, 25-16.

North Duplin was led to victory by Lilly Fulghum and Carrly Strickland. Fulghum had 18 assists and three aces, while Strickland had four digs and two aces. Fulghum is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

They weren't the only good server: North Duplin was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in seven consecutive contests.

North Duplin is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Union, they dropped their record down to 2-13 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.
