Basketball Recap: Rushville Lions vs. Batesville Bulldogs
Rushville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 51-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Batesville Bulldogs. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 44-36 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rushville lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Owen Zachery, who posted nine points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Clayton Chase, who had seven points and eight rebounds.
