St. Luke fell victim to Rye Country Day and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Storm's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

David Carioto was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
