Basketball Game Preview: Pewitt Brahmas vs. Clarksville Tigers

The Pewitt Brahmas and the Clarksville Tigers will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pewitt hasn't scored more than 22 points for four games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Pewitt is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Maud on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Pewitt might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Maud an easy 43-19 victory. The Brahmas were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-4.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Clarksville duked it out withMaud last Tuesday. Clarksville came out on top against Maud by a score of 36-29. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Clarksville's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Pewitt, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
