After only 13 points in their last game, El Capitan made sure to put some points up on the board against Los Banos on Thursday. The Gauchos put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 32-8 win. The result was nothing new for the Gauchos, who have now won 11 matchups by 24 points or more so far this season.

Aaliyah Simonian produced another solid effort throwing for 163 yards and four touchdowns, while also rushing for 101 yards and one score on only seven carries.

El Capitan didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Los Banos to a completion percentage of just 42.3%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from four players: Avnoor Bains, Giovanna Yang, Madysen Dietz, and Keely Castillo, who each logged one passes deflected. El Capitan wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 66.7%.

El Capitan pushed their record up to 17-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.7 points over those games. As for Los Banos, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

El Capitan wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 25-20 victory against Merced on the 21st. As for Los Banos, they have also already played their next matchup, a 51-6 loss against Atwater on the 21st.
