Baseball Recap: Mojave Takes a Loss

Mojave was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Canyon Springs Pioneers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rattlers of the 19-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Roger Sanudo was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.

Mojave's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Canyon Springs, their record now sits at 6-14.

While Mojave had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
