The Green Bobcats will head out to challenge the Huntington Huntsmen at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
While Green's victory against Rock Hill wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Green skirted past Rock Hill 4-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Jonathan Knapp made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single hit and allowed only two earned runs while striking out 16 over seven innings pitched. Knapp was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mason Neal, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Kase McIntyre, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Huntington took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. Everything went their way against Eastern as Huntington made off with a 12-0 win. The Huntsmen haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Like Green, Huntington also got a great game from a two-way player: Brayden Elliott. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time Elliott hasn't allowed a single hit since back in April of 2024. He was even better at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
In other pitching news, Andrew Oyer looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched.
Elliott wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Landon Lowery, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Frankie Hirsch was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.
Huntington always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eastern only posted an OBP of .118.
