Recap: Bishop Carroll Golden Eagles vs. North RedHawks

The Bishop Carroll Golden Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They really took it to North for the full four quarters, racking up a 70-33 victory on the road. The win was a breath of fresh air for Bishop Carroll as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Leading Bishop Carroll to victory were John Hauserman and Ian Muth. Hauserman scored 16 points along with two steals, while Muth scored 20 points. That's the first time this season that Muth scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Landon Stevens, who scored 11 points along with five steals.

Bishop Carroll's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for North, their loss was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-8.

Bishop Carroll will head out on the road to square off against South at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. South knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Bishop Carroll likes a good challenge. North will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kapaun Mt. Carmel on January 23rd.
