Meanwhile, Holly came up short against Springfield on Friday, falling 3-0.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Springfield scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-22, 25-19.

Holly's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett], their victory bumped their record up to 15-4.

Everything went South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett]'s way against Holly when the teams last played back in September, as South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] made off with a 3-0 win.
