Volleyball Recap: DuQuoin Gets the Win

DuQuoin picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Charleston Trojans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Lucy Milam was the offensive standout of the match as she had ten digs.

Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Avery Beals, who had 11 digs. Beals is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last nine games she's played dating back to last season.

DuQuoin now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Charleston, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

DuQuoin has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Christopher on the 8th. As for Charleston, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Mt. Zion at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
