Spring got themselves on the board against Aldine on Friday, but Aldine never followed suit. They took their game with ease, bagging a 49-0 victory over the Mustangs. The Lions pushed the score to 42-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Mustangs had no chance of recovering from.

Spring's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Vincent Lee, who rushed for 119 yards and two scores on only seven carries. Lee has become a key player for the Lions: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 0-7 otherwise. Another back making a difference was Emanuel Bowen, who rushed for 75 yards and one TD on only five carries.
