Mira Mesa skates past Lincoln with ease

The Mira Mesa Marauders scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Lincoln 64-24 on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Mira Mesa who now have five in a row.

Leading Mira Mesa to victory were Ivorii Seals and Savannah Hall. Seals scored 24 points along with six rebounds and four steals, while Hall dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Seals has scored at least a third of Mira Mesa's points. Alyssa Otero was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds and five steals.

Mira Mesa is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Lincoln, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.

Mira Mesa will head out on the road to face off against Patrick Henry at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Patrick Henry is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Lincoln will take on University City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. University City presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lincoln in California (University City is ranked 558th, while Lincoln is ranked 1143rd).
