Volleyball Recap: Ronan Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Ronan was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Libby on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chiefs lost 3-0 to the Polson Pirates on Monday. The Chiefs haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-15, 25-14.

When it comes to explaining why Ronan lost, don't look at Sarah Templer. Despite the final result, she had 15 digs and one block. Templer has been hot, having also posted 14 or more assists the last five times she's played.

Polson can attribute much of their success to Aleysia Black, who had 11 digs and two aces.

Ronan's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Polson, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Ronan is set to face off against their familiar foe Libby at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Polson will challenge rival Bigfork at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
