Starkville entered their tilt with Terry on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They strolled past the Terry Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 41-22. The Yellowjackets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Terry's loss came despite strong showings from Marleya Myers and Madison Jones. Myers posted ten points and six rebounds, while Jones had four points in addition to nine boards and six blocks. Jones is crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Starkville has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Terry, they moved to 9-5 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Starkville will take on Germantown at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Terry, they will welcome West Jones at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
