Softball Recap: Dawson County Extends Winning Streak to Three

Six must be Dawson County's lucky number: they beat Lambert with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Tigers walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Longhorns. The Tigers' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Dawson County let Addi Prewitt and Kaelyn Utech run wild. Prewitt went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double, while Utech went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. Another player making a difference was Sadie Dotson, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base.

Dawson County's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Dawson County will challenge Hebron Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lambert, they will venture away from home to take on East Forsyth at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
