Softball Game Preview: Central Dragons vs. Everett Warriors

The Central Dragons will take on the Everett Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

Last Wednesday, Central came up short against Penns Valley Area and fell 11-7. The defeat continues a trend for the Dragons in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost six in a row.

Alexis Fetzer was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kaylee Kensinger, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, everything went Everett's way against Rockwood on Wednesday as Everett made off with a 25-16 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Everett, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Central might still be hurting after the 14-5 defeat they got from Everett when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can Central avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
