Springstead is 9-1 against Lecanto since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Springstead Eagles will welcome the Lecanto Panthers at 7:00 p.m. The two teams were dealt some close losses in their previous games and are determined not to let this one get away.

Springstead is headed into the match having just suffered their closest loss since February 27, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Nature Coast Tech by a score of 7-5.

Dalton Williams was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Nathaniel Sabino, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Lecanto didn't have quite enough to beat Weeki Wachee on Friday and fell 6-4. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Brenden Marcic made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.

Lecanto now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Springstead, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Springstead came out on top in a nail-biter against Lecanto in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, sneaking past 4-3. Will Springstead repeat their success, or does Lecanto have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
