Volleyball Recap: Corvian Community Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Corvian Community and Gray Stone Day squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Corvian Community had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Knights. The Cardinals just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-22, 23-25, 25-15.

Gray Stone Day found their leader in sophomore Addi Lyerly, who had eight digs and three aces. Jordan Baker also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Corvian Community's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Gray Stone Day, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-12 record this season.

Corvian Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gray Stone Day, they will venture away from home to square off against Highland Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
