Basketball Recap: Elyria Pioneers vs. Midview Middies
Elyria waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Midview Middies 81-45. The Pioneers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 21 points or more this season.
Elyria was led to victory by Kendyll Compton and Taylor Blanton. Compton went 10 for 16 en route to 25 points in addition to eight boards and five assists, while Blanton went 6 of 9 from beyond the arc on his way to 18 points and six assists.
