Baseball Recap: Prattville Christian Academy Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

On TuesdayPrattville Christian Academy's undefeated season almost came to an end. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 victory over the Trinity Presbyterian Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since April 20, 2024.

Prattville Christian Academy let Cody Baker and Tyson Houston run wild. Baker got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI and one double, while Houston scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. That's the most RBI Baker has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Masters, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Prattville Christian Academy pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs over those games. As for Trinity Presbyterian, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Prattville Christian Academy will face off against Brewbaker Tech at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Brewbaker Tech is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season. As for Trinity Presbyterian, they will host Montgomery Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
