While Elkton didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-7), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Rising Sun Tigers 42-7. The Golden Elks' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Owen McBride was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 263 yards and three TDs while picking up 13.2 yards per attempt. McBride is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: he's passed for at least three every time he's taken the field this season.

Elkton's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Rising Sun, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elkton will face off against North East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rising Sun, they will challenge Perryville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed nine points per game this season, so the Tigers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
